Overview:
This article provides instructions on how to connect the CODEGRIP device to the CODEGRIP Suite using a Wi-Fi connection. The CODEGRIP programmer/debugger can be connected to a PC either via USB cable or Wi-Fi. To use the Wi-Fi connection, the CODEGRIP device must have a built-in Wi-Fi module and a Wi-Fi license (provided during the purchasing process).
Wi-Fi Connection:
Note: This connection method requires a CODEGRIP device with a built-in Wi-Fi module and an active Wi-Fi license.
Follow these steps to connect your CODEGRIP device to the PC via Wi-Fi:
Start CODEGRIP Suite
Open the CODEGRIP Suite software on your PC.Power On CODEGRIP Device
Connect the CODEGRIP device to your PC via USB cable to power it on (this step is required even when using Wi-Fi).Check Net Link LED
Ensure that the Net Link LED on the CODEGRIP device is turned ON, indicating that the device is ready for Wi-Fi connection.-
Initiate Device Scanning
- In the CODEGRIP Suite, click on CODEGRIP from the left-side menu.
- Then click on SCANNING.
- Click on the SCAN DEVICES button to search for available devices.
Scan and List Devices
The CODEGRIP Suite will scan for all available CODEGRIP devices and display them in a list.Select Your Device
Find your device in the list of available devices and click on the Wi-Fi icon on the right side of your device’s entry.Confirm Connection in Status Line
In the CODEGRIP Suite, the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom status line will become activated, confirming that the device is successfully connected via Wi-Fi and ready for use.
