This article explains the functionality of the email icon in the CODEGRIP Suite status bar and how the update availability indicator works.

1. Update Availability Indicator

   • During the startup procedure, CODEGRIP Suite automatically checks for available software updates.
   • If a new update is found, a notification icon will appear on the status bar, signaling that a new version of the CODEGRIP Suite is ready for download.

2. Suppressing the Update Notification

   • You can suppress this notification by adjusting the settings:
     • Go to OPTIONS > General Menu in the CODEGRIP Suite.
     • Configure the options to disable the update indicator.
