Voice controlled LEDs – Flip&click with SpeakUp click project
Posted by Lana Vulic on 19 June 2017 10:48 AM

What do you get when you mix Flip&click, SpeakUp click and 4×4 RGB click in one pot? Voice controlled LEDs of course. Teodor from electronza.com has made another tutorial that will save you hours and hours of work.

It’s a perfect project for those long summer nights. You can sit outside, sip a cold lemonade and adjust the LEDs strings that you wrapped around the trees with your voice.

Read the whole tutorial and learn how to program SpeakUp click, which words work best for the voice commands, and see the Arduino code that Teodor used.

Flip&click

Flip&click – a place where click boards™ meet Arduino. The four mikroBUS™ sockets on this cool development board will allow you to add more than 300 functionalities. Countless combinations lay before you.

If you visit our GitHub page, you will find Flip&click code examples. No need to start from scratch.

For more information about the Flip&click see the product page.

LED Flash click – a high-power LED flash in compact size
Posted by Lana Vulic on 30 May 2017 01:06 PM

The newest click in out range, LED Flash click, works as a high-powered LED flash. With its low power consumption, you’ll never have to think about battery life. You can use it as a camera flash, for all those times when the ambient lighting is simply not enough.

LED Flash click

LED Flash click carries the CAT3224 flash LED driver. The click is designed to run on a 5V power supply. It communicates with the target microcontroller over the following pins on the mikroBUS™ line: AN, RST, PWM, and INT.

The module onboard the click can deliver up to 4A LED flash pulses.

For more information about the click, see the product page.

Yours sincerely,
MikroElektronika

16×9 G click – green LEDs, light intensity and music
Posted by Lana Vulic on 31 January 2017 04:31 PM

16×9 G click is our new click in the display section. It has 144 green LEDs (as the G in the name implies).

The fun thing about it is that each LED can be individually controlled, and not just for ON/OFF control, but light intensity as well.

You can set the light intensity for individual LEDs, and individual frames.

Music and light intensity

Find a song with a good beat and modulate the light intensity of the 16×9 G click with that audio. You can play the 8 available frames on the LED driver to the rhythm of the music. The driver plays the first frame when the value is the smallest and plays the eighth frame when the value is the biggest.

Quantity discount

Maybe you need more than one 16×9 G click for your project. Maybe you need ten, or twenty. No matter how many you are getting, once you put them in the cart, you can always see how much you’re saving. Of course, this applies to all our products.

For more information about the click check out the product page.

Yours Sincerely,
MikroElektronika
