Special 50% discount on mikromedia Shields
Posted by Lana Vulic on 07 July 2017 09:37 AM

We wanted to make this Friday special for you, so we created a 50% discount on mikromedia Shields. Get an expansion board that is compatible with your favorite mikromedia.

mikromedia Plus development boards are amazingly compact, all-on-single-PCB development platforms, with a 4.3” TFT touchscreen, and lots of peripherals. Each one carries a different microcontroller.

Pick one or two, or get them all

Here is the list of the mikromedia development boards that have the Shield 50% OFF offer:

To get the discount you need to add both the mikromedia board and the accompanying Shield to the cart.

Expand your possibilities

By adding the Shield to your mikromedia you get four mikroBUS™ sockets. We have more than 300 click boards™ in the shop, from wireless transceivers and sensors to motor control click boards™ and displays.

mikromedia Plus for TIVA – feature rich 4.3” board
Posted by Lana Vulic on 03 July 2017 12:59 PM

Making multimedia applications is going to be a breeze, with our mikromedia Plus for TIVA development board.

A large 4.3’’ touchscreen, a powerful microcontroller from Texas Instruments, RF transceiver antenna, battery charger, and USB connector – all of that on one development board. And we didn’t even mention half of it. Let’s begin with the heart of the mikromedia Plus for TIVA, the ARM Cortex™ M4 microcontroller.

TM4C123GH6PGEI MCU

This powerful microcontroller has an 80-MHz processor core, 256 KB of Flash and 100 DMIPS performance. It’s ready to handle all your ideas, so don’t limit yourself. Let your creativity shine.

Battery power supply

You can keep all your mikromedia development boards powered with a Li-Polymer battery. Each one, including mikromedia Plus for TIVA, has a battery connector onboard. An LED will indicate when the battery is charging.

mikromedia Plus product line

The mikromedia Plus line of development boards features a 4.3” touchscreen, driven by the SSD1963 graphics controller, Nordic’s nRF240L01+2.4GHz RF wireless transceiver with an active chip antenna.

Check out the other four mikromedias in this line, and the shields that you can use to add functionalities to them.

For more information about the mikromedia Plus for TIVA see the product page.

Yours sincerely,

Box of wonders – start designing user interfaces right away
Posted by Lana Vulic on 22 June 2017 03:07 PM

You are sitting home, wondering what you need to buy to start making your own user interfaces. You compile one list. An hour later you realize that you forgot to add something. So, you go back, make a new list, but then you’re not sure if all the tools are compatible with each other. Slowly you’re losing the will to even draw a sketch on a piece of paper.

Well, you’ll never have a problem like that again, because we are introducing a new line of development kits intended for designing amazing user interfaces – mikroLAB for mikromedia line.

It’s the perfect toolbox: mikromedia workStation v7 is the best development environment for mikromedia boards –  your stepping stone. The Visual TFT software and compiler license will launch you into full creativity mode; you don’t need to worry about the code, the Visual TFT will generate it automatically in the background, you just concentrate on the design.

Choose the mikromedia you want (out of the seven we are offering for now), and start making truly amazing interfaces. Test them out immediately. Work and play at the same time.

Open the box

Open the box and you’ll find everything you could possibly need to start designing graphic interfaces. From a workstation to wire jumpers. We got you covered.

As you can see, a lot of time and thought has been invested in the packaging. Our graphic designer Danijela made sure that every single box inside the kit forms one piece of a puzzle. Opening the package is going to be like Christmas morning.

You’ll find mikroBUS™ connectors on both the mikroBUS shield for mikromedia and the workStation v7. As you already know we have more than 300 click boards™ in the shop. That means that you can add all those functionalities to your project. From wireless connectivity and sensors to motor control click boards and audio and voice ones.

And if you need to save any pictures and other media, the microSD card is in the package as well. You can say that we thought of everything.

For more information about the mikroLAB for mikromedia kits, visit the product pages for each one.
